Maven Moves is a free community yoga series for all levels. We create a lively, welcoming experience that celebrates all bodies. Our soundtrack is provided by live musicians of many different genres. Maven believes community leadership begins with our own self-care so that we may better serve others. We invite you to apply your own oxygen mask before assisting others.

"I am not flexible."
That's ok. We hear yoga helps with that. Besides, the focus is really on our breath and not on how much you can bend into a pretzel. Our instructors offer variations on each poster for different levels in the class.
"People will laugh at me."
Everyone is having too much fun on their own mat to worry about others around them.
"What are the benefits of yoga?"
We have found regular practice to help with our heart health, sleep, and stress reduction, among other things.
"Do I need a mat?"
In most cases there will be a limited number of mats available for free. Please check specific class info for details. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.
"How long is the yoga session?"
We tend to practice for about 75 minutes. The last 10-15 minutes are awesome because you get to do nothing but relax on your back with your eyes closed enjoying your accomplishment.
